ridergoatee
You say oil in air filter? Possible ccv system problem. Make sure all is clean.
maddzz1
That is blow-by, very common in our trucks. Some people splice a catch bottle into the line between the valve cover and the air filter. Others solve it by upgrading to the 96+ (I think its 96+) valve cover; it has a better baffle in it and stops the oil from getting into the ccv line. Mjeff has a write up on it. If you do the VC upgrade you need to use the newer VC gasket too.
ratrapp
i did the valve cover upgrade and it cut my blowby down by over 50%,maybe more.plus now more crappy valve cover leaking.it's an upgrade well worth doing.
