It's inline... Behind/below the back of the driver's door, on the inside of the uniframe. If you trace the fuel line from the gas tank there's no way to miss it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

At least, that's where it should be.

Be very careful pinching off the lines before you remove the filter and be prepared for gas to still dribble out onto you somehow. :D

plan on replacing the rubber pieces of fuel line that connect the filter to the hard line. They're going to be really stuck on there, it's easier to replace than pull them from the filter. I tried reusing them once on my sundance, I ended up tearing them trying to get them off.

I need to do that. Any auto parts store should sell fuel injection safe rubber hosing, right? All the stuff I ever see is clearly marked "not for use with fuel injection".

local napa here has it. I forget the tubeing sizes, but I know one side is bigger than the other.

The filter I bought last year came with the two lengths of fuel line already in the box. IIRC, it was a Purolator filter.....might be worth checking before you buy any hose.
