CEThomas
Just an open letter to ComancheClub.Com. This forum rocks!!! My son has the MJ and I have a 93 Ford Ranger Ext. Cab 4x4, to Bad Jeep never put out a Ext. Cab Well I joined a Big Ranger forum yesterday to see if I could find a source for a front bumper as my Ranger has NO tow hooks or any good point to hook up at  GOOD GOD talk about a bunch of candy @$$ boy’s, all they talk about is how to drop it , or they are going to put a lift and BFT’s on a 2w Ranger so it looks good and what color bulbs look best with the new clear lens they just put in. And while on the subject they must have $$$ as it looks like they do not wrench themselves but take it to the shop to do everything  Good job ComancheClub.Com. It MUST be a JEEP THING :chillin: Charles
GirsMJ86
It MUST be a JEEP THING :chillin: that it is. we take pride in doing mods ourself, plus it is fun. seems most other truck owners take it to have lift kits stuck on and stuff even if it comes with everything you need. and yes it would be nice to have an ext cab mj. there is actually a place in MI that can do that for ya if ya have the money. like i said, if i ever win the lotto i will do it to mine. CEThomas
Thanks jbhill, I did find a bumper link on ORR. Short of building a custom bumper I did find one  Charles
pingpong
A few yrs ago when I started wheeling Pong.. there wasnt even a lift kit out for the MJ beside a budget boost, and RE's DB kit. I believe I was one of the first ppl to try the Chevy drop shackle for rear lift... In other words.. we build our own junk for the most part, and it shows in the way we share knowledge
jbhill
you could always adapt some tow hooks off another vehicle or upgrade thefront bumper to an 98-00 4x4 bumper(have tow hooks factory) or a 01 up 4x4/edge bumper(have tow hooks factory)

Just use the brackets, find a HD trac bar and some lift coils.... then SOA and a chevy drop shackle.... whole lot cheaper and it is about the same thing, especially considering they use lift coils and spacers on that kit
Oizarod115
problem is... i added up the costs of everything i would need to do it right, trackbar, brakelines, all that stuff and its ALWAYS more than the kit. i can't seem to source the parts cheaper than the RE kit. feerocknok
Lol, I calculated it out yesterday. $1500ish for parts, but if you bought used, and realized what parts you don't need, then it'd be cheaper.
pingpong
Try to find a 4wd shop that sells below what RE sells it for.. I can think of a couple right off the top of my head :D Also I posted in the forsale forum a local guy is selling a set of re DB's. Just look and be patient
