cocy
so I'm having issues with my truck at the moment, frame is rusted bad and shocks mounts are trashed, well I'm in Ohio and there's a winter storm coming, how bad would it be to drive with out my rear shocks for a little while till I can fix the mounts and frame? mvusse
No rear shocks -> be carefull, especially in low traction conditions like snow. No front shocks -> accident waiting to happen.

jpnjim
Even just 1 rear shock is 10x's better than no rear shocks. No rear shocks = you just keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppp bouncing after hitting that last bump. 1 rear shock = squirmy, and bouncy, by 10x's better then the above. kyleag89
When I drive in the snow I like to have around 200lbs in the bed for better traction, and that wouldn't be good with no shocks.

86FUBAR
Well when I lifted my jeep the first time I didn't have rear shocks for about 3 months and it drove quite well though I did have a rear add a leaf installed that made it alot stiffer , I don't know if that made a difference or not but it sure didn't feel " dangerous" as y'all make it sound . And the last time I lifted my jeep ( the same truck ) I again didn't have rear shocks right away and although it didn't get very many miles on it the second time around it still drove fine . Now when I drove the same truck around with no front shocks after second lift (only around the yard a bit ) it was fun but felt unbelievable dangerous and defeinetly not recomended . So there's my 2 cents.
