loganweiss
i have a 91 comanche long bed and i have noticed that the passenger side rear end is leaning significantly lower than the rest of the truck. i just recently did a rough country 6.5 inch lift on the front of the truck and right now i have the rear end all apart and was going to do a SOA lift on the rear and possibly add a leaf, but I'm a little concerned with the passenger side sagging in the rear. would it just be the main leaf that would cause it to lean? or could it be another leaf? i have 2 pairs of leaf springs from another truck i had, and out of the 2 pairs i was going to put together a setup that would hopefully be a little stiffer, give me about an inch of lift and take care of the lean. any thoughts as to what may be causing it to lean? Geonovast
Most likely a broken leaf. Probably not the main, though, as that would be rather noticeable. Take the pack apart and see what you got.
mkbruin
yep, bent or broken leafs. Usually we tilt to the drivers side. ;)
ryno56
mine had a broken third leaf when I got it. both sides though, so it didn't lean. You said you had the rear apart so you might have just not noticed when you took it apart, but it should have been noticeable.
loganweiss
i took the pack apart and i can't see anything visably wrong. I'm thinking that maybe somebody that had the truck before me might have gotten it hot with a torch or something...luckily i have a 2nd leaf pack that i can swap in there that are in better shape
camjeep3
might also want to look at your shackle bushings. the exhaust is routed out the passenger side. and if you exhaust isnt factory(like mine) and was routed to close by the PO(like mine) your bushing might be toast
