89_4x4_MJ Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Alright, today I went down and got my 1989 Jeep Truck, it has the 2.5L AX-5 tranny, 167,000 miles, shortbed. What it needs is the both floor boards replaced, needs a slave cly, radiator, new front coils, and new tires. All in all the truck is in very nice shape, the motor bay is very clean, the frame is good, the bed is very good, and the cab needs a bit of rust repair, besides the floor boards. Tomorrow I will take pictures and post them up.
89_4x4_MJ Posted September 18, 2010 Author Posted September 18, 2010 Heck I forgot bout this  , nothing really new, got some of the old after market gauges out that the PO had in, got a rollbar off my one friend and installed that, I'm hoping to have my buddys shop come down with the Rollback to pick it up next week, so we can do the slave cyl. I should have pictures up tomorrow.
89_4x4_MJ Posted September 18, 2010 Author Posted September 18, 2010 Alright here are pictures, now this is NOT my first Jeep, this is my 8th Jeep, but first Jeep Truck.
beaterheep Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 that looks like a factory longbed rollbar, shortbed bars mounted to the forward slanted part of the wheelwell
89_4x4_MJ Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 No clue, I got it off my friend.
DodgeFan01 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I like that Jeep sticker on the back window, pretty badazz
89_4x4_MJ Posted October 9, 2010 Author Posted October 9, 2010 Well I might be selling the 2.5L motor and tranny, so then I can convert this truck over to a 4.0L.
Pete M Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 aftermarket rollbar. all Jeep rollbars mounted to the front angled part of the wheelwell.
