STERLING STINGER
so i just go to the gas station and what do i see???? 1995 cherokee with the hood up. older guy and a yo boy there. if you dudes don't know what a yo boy is, its a white kid acting black :shake: go over to offer my help, because I'm a stand up guy like that  they say it won't start. i see the thermo cap off and fluids on the ground. i look under the truck...the first hose i see is ???ripped??? for some reason...idk what its called so don't even ask....the bottom one?? i have this hose 1/2 mile from the gas station in my garage thrown in my parts bin :brows:i would of gladly gave it to them, and my tools were right in my truck. i explained to them that i know a little about the truck, and the older guy looked releived, but the yo boy seemed wierd for some reason....snotty sort of. then i ask what the temp gauge was at, and the yo boy looked at me and said, my whole family has these jeeps, i wouldnt drive it if it was too hot. i stood there as the yo boy dumped fluid in it...put the cap on and started the truck it sounded EXACTLY like my engine when i threw the crank through it..... i told them to shut it off and they shouldnt drive it and the yo boy snickered.... but the older dude was agreeing with me. well he drove it out of the parking lot, got on the street and pop goes the weasel! :rotf: he gets out and looks at me all stupid...i offered the older guy a ride, but he had his car there good times here.... i guess they have a doner now

87Warrior
Free advice is worth what you pay for it... and sometimes it is worth every penny. You say they have a donor. For what? My guess is the junk yard, unfortunately. Yo boy? That fellow sounds like somebody who would be driving a civic with a fart can on it, a ricer if you will, even though he was in a XJ. ComancheKrazy
I have a similar experience...the dudes XJ wasn't ruined or broke, but he wouldn't listen. It was last winter. I was out in the country near my dad's. It's dusk, getting a little dark and there is ice on the roads. Of course they can be very very hilly. I'm driving and I come to this hill and this xj is half up it and is sliding back down. :hmm: I stop and I'm waiting for this dude to get up the hill so I can go. Turns out he has 4 wheel drive. He's in 4 low and trying to get up the hill, slides back down to the bottom and tries it again. I tell him he's going to need to back up and get some speed going and get out of 4 low, cuz this hill is STEEP and SLICK. He tries about 4 or 5 times, keeping it in low and only gets to a little over 20 mph most likely. Still doesn't make it, I tell him again and he goes "I know how to drive a Jeep, my dad taught me" :smart: . I was like forget it, I told him to pull over to the side, I got in, had it in 4 high in my COMANCHE :brows: (when it still ran), and I gunned it. I go flying up the hill first time, probably around 40 mph. I don't know if he ever did it, he might have turned around. Oh well, don't take advice, it's on you haha. Eagle
Unfortunately, my nephew (my sister's only child) is a classic yo boy. Fortunately, he lives several hundred miles away and I see him at most once or maybe twice a year.
