MancheKid86 Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 what is the bolt size for the bolt underneath this bracket? its the rear of the frame right behind where the shackles are lol hijacked the pic :P
jimoshel Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 It's the same size as the three bolts above it holding the bumper bracket. Take one of them out and measure it.
MancheKid86 Posted July 16, 2010 Author Posted July 16, 2010 i hijacked the picture ^^ this is mine, (don't mine the PT was to judge bolt spacing)
MancheKid86 Posted July 16, 2010 Author Posted July 16, 2010 ty! now i can finish building my bumper :D
mjeff87 Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I'd advise you to start spraying your bolts down now with PB or something similar if you're gonna try to remove them in the future. They are notorious for snapping off inside the nutstrip inside the framerail....... Jeff
MancheKid86 Posted July 17, 2010 Author Posted July 17, 2010 didnt work, they looked at me and said 15 mm bolt size don't exist in this world, what is the like thread ratio, i believe there is a bolt measuring thread to explain what i mean, viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11380
Eagle Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 They are 10mm. I think Red was referring to the size socket that fits the head. Red ... that's not what designates the size of the bolt. Bolt size is the major diameter of the shank.
Red 1989 MJ Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Thanks Eagle, I was referring to the head of the bolt. ;)
