87Warrior
As I continue to plan out my trucks build, I keep second guessing my interior options. Bench or Bucket? I have matching buckets and brackets, but keep thinking about going with a newer bench for the 3rd seat and truck feel. From my research, the 2nd gen dakota seats will fit in the cab. Plus the 40/20/40 split looks good. But, how comfortable are these seats? What fabrics are available? Are there any known points of failure? How hard is it to find full manual seats? Thanks for the help!
1990 Pioneer 4x4
Had my spit bench for 11 years and all was well 135,000 miles later, even the fabric. IMHO I think it was more comfortable than the 2010 split bench. "mnkyboy" installed the spit bench in his MJ, might want to ask him about the fit. Burls
I loved my 99 kota's 40/20/40 seats. By far the most comfortable car seats I've ever owned.
Pete M
not sure how applicable it is, but I love the buckets in my 2000. :D
comanche09
My '07 Dakota/Raider 40/20/40 seats are more comfortable than my '08 KK seats. After a couple hours in the KK my lower back hurts. After a couple hours in my MJ, no pain.
