I have a massive water leak on the Passenger side of my truck. its where the radio antenna coax and CB coax exit the cab inside the fender about a foot below the antenna. This is a factory hole, I imagine that from factory there was a grommet that went around the cable, but mine is gone. And I haven't noticed it until now because the truck is usually garaged and out of the elements. I caught on to it when I found about an inch of water on my rubber floor after it rained last night, the under carpet pad is soaked. I want to take care of this before my rust free floorpans bite the dust. What do your trucks have to seal this hole? Any ideas as to what I can do to seal the hole?

I had the exact same leak. I haven't gotten around to trying to find the correct size grommet. As a temp fix (since the carpet is out), I have duct tape sealing it.

That was the happiest find ever. I thought I had a cowl leak in that front right corner. Finding where the previous owner left the grommet out during the radio swap was such a relief!

Any auto supply or industrial supply should have grommets in stock. I have used RTV, The Red, in emergencies , and non emergencies with good results. I prefer it over regular sealant in some cases because it's easier to remove.

Measure the diameter of the hole (1" I think it is), and pick up a rubber body plug the same size at Autismzone or similar.
