2.5L metric ton

went to the JY today and found a 86 2.5L ax5 4X4 MJ with an amc 20 and metric ton springs.

as far as i could tell it looked like it came that way but ive never seen this on a 4cyl MJ :nuts:

I've seen at least one that I know of. The guy who used to run the (now defunct) Shell station down the road used to have one with a 5-speed and a plow on it for clearing the driveway in the winter.

must have been a rare option. I'm thinking about going back for the springs and axle, the yard wants $200 for everything.
