Door mirror question

My 88' MJ has the manually adjusting door mirrors (I'm assuming just like every comanche). What I want to know is if any of them came with the little knob for adjusting them without rolling down the window and actually adjusting the glass. :shake: If not, is it a direct or simple swap from a donor XJ, and if so, do I need to look for a certain year? :hmm:

Some did. It was an option. Any '80's XJ will fit a MJ.

My 88 did. never did work. I still had to roll the window down to make adjustments. :(

I installed some on mine from an XJ,direct swap

I got two that works OK, '87 &'88. On the '89 I got tired fooling with it and jammed a piece of cardboard between the glass and the frame. It works.
