Acc position - Radio

I was reading a couple of the other posts and it reminded me that my radio does come on in the acc (2nd) position of the key switch. Seems strange. Anybody else??? In fact, as I think about it, I don't think anything is activated in the 2nd position......

That's what the acc position is for. Accessories.Radio, dome light, cigar lighter, etc.

if 'nothing' works in this mode (heater & wipers should also work on MJ's), the problem is likely in the column/ignition switch mech.

The second position of the key is off, unlocked wheel. To get to acc mode you need to turn the key counterclockwise past the lock position, I have to push in on the key and lock cylinder while turning for mine to go into the ACC position.
