Tsunami to hit Hawaii

The 8.8 earthquake in Chile yesterday has triggered a tsunami that is predicted to hit the islands at about 11am local time (4pm eastern time). They are predicting waves of about 8 feet.

 

Hopefully it won't be that severe.

CNN reported that there where surfers waiting, but no wave. :(

Wish I was in hawaii surfing :( :drool: I think its kind of odd how people freaked out when haiti was hit by their 7.0 earthquake but when chile was hit with a 8.8 everybody shruggs :nuts:
