waggy Posted April 15, 2010 Share Posted April 15, 2010 could have been manufactured later in the year , i have seen jeeps when the next model year is getting close and they run out of parts they start to use the new parts , my friend had a 89 xj with lots of 90's parts from the factory , it was one of the last xjs made in 89 . 1986Comanche Posted April 20, 2010 Share Posted April 20, 2010 I believe the '86's were all serpentine, not V. That is wrong, 1986s were available with either the V belt or the serpentine belt setup.
