Geonovast
Either it's not being bled completely, or you have a leak somewhere. Might be worth it to hook it up to a power bleeder. Internal or External slave?
JeepcoMJ
he's internal. did you check and replace the master cylinder? did you buy a cheap slave cylinder? typically, the only internal slave you want to buy is a genuine mopar part. parts store internal slaves don't tend to last long... woody62
its a internal slave and it doesnt ever loose fluid in the clutch master cylinder so i think that maybe worn out?
JeepcoMJ
its a internal slave and it doesnt ever loose fluid in the clutch master cylinder so i think that maybe worn out? yeah, the master piston could be bad now. so, I'd suggest a new master cylinder
woody62
is there n e things special i have to do to swap that out or do i just put a new one on and then bleed it?
Geonovast
Might want to consider tracking down an external setup.

Eagle
Might want to consider tracking down an external setup. He just spent beaucoup bucks replacing the clutch, now you want him to just toss all that? And if the master cylinder is bad, it doesn't matter if he has an internal or external slave, it won't work with either one.

I just wish he hadn't ordered the parts before he got the 5 speed from me, because I had an external slave setup for him back then.

If your problem is coming from your internal slave cylinder and you have to replace, you should consider tracking down an external setup, as the clutch parts themselves are the same. I apologize for not remembering he bought all new stuff.
Oizarod115
i had a master cyl fail on my truck and had no clutch disengagement at all with no fluid loss, i would give that a shot, fairly cheap and maybe a 1hr repair including bleeding.
