88pioneer Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 When i took my new 92 for a test drive i noticed the spacing between the tranny hump and the gas pedal, and the gap between the gas pedal and brake pedal are almost non existent. :huh???: This makes pushing the gas pedal in very difficult, or once you have it down, you can't release because your foot gets wedged on the brake pedal. I haven't looked at it close yet sice i don't have it home yet, but this is something i'm going to need to fix right away. Any help is appreciated
shelbyluvv Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 It could be the way the PO welded the new metal to the floor pan. I looked hat his build thread and seen he replaced that area you are talking about.
Pete M Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 within a week of buying my very first MJ I hacked off a portion of the right side of the brake pedal because my work boots kept catching on it. floorpans were stock.
