FLMANCHE526 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 i have a 90 mj 2.5 wiyh the ax5 and sometimes the tranny sticks in gear and i can't get it out for awhile what is the problem

Geonovast Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 You're probably a little low on oil. Never hurts to do a fluid change... plus the drain plug on the bottom has a magnet on it, so you should be able to see if you have any metal shavings.
FLMANCHE526 Posted February 1, 2010 Author Posted February 1, 2010 Did a fluid change today and the drain plug had just a lil bit of metal shavings. But it still has the same problem sticking and now grinding going into to gear. would that be the clutch idk this is my first standard tranny? :mad:
Pete M Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Your clutch probably needs to be bled. yup, it's possible that your clutch isn't fully disengaging. :(
