pitbull4x4 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 What is Renix? I hope this does not sound like a silly question. Does it only have to do with the motor? Or does it have to do with the truck its self? Any and all info would be great.
Pete M Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 "Renix" is the name of the ignition system on 86-90 MJs. in 91 they got a whole new system which is generally referred to as the "Chysler" or "H.O." systems. If I remember right, the name is a combination of Bendix and Renault.

mvusse Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 But the 2.8 was a Chevy engine. Chevy has nothing to do with Renault and Delco Remyhas nothing to do with Bendix.
