help needed with vacuum hookup

I've just recently replaced the motor in the 90, the vacuum lines are hooked up to match the diagram, but it will not run with the map sensor connected to the vacuum line. tonight I replaced the sensor no change, any ideas? :bowdown:

Does it try to start but can't? Do you have spark? Do you have fuel?

yep plenty of both --- small amount of black smoke with MAP unhooked, hook up map --- dies
