HOrnbrod
Bama 26, Fla 13, start of the 4th quarter. Bama's kickin' Gator butt on both sides of the ball. Yet the dayem announcers are still conducting their Tebow love fest. What a freekin' joke.

BTW the Love that Tebow gets from all the media (especially ESPN), is absolutely nauseating. GO HUSKERS!
HOrnbrod
Yeah, even I was starting to believe all the 2nd Heismann BS they were spouting about Tebow. Did you just see him get blindsided and they refs called it an incomplete forward pass? But that's okay - Tebow just threw an interception. Tebow sucks. :shake: Now if your Huskers can knock off the Horns tonight, maybe we play TCU for the National Championship. GO HUSKERS! EDIT: As you said Wade, the cornfeds have a great defense - but no offense. They gave it a go until the defense pigged out. Oh well, bring on the Horns. They should be easier than the Gators............
SuperWade2
DOG GONE... that's really disappointing (I'm talking Neb/Texas)... it worked out about like I thought... Nebraska showed that it's a TOP 5 defense...our offense isn't good, Texas Defense is... I think Bama wins BIG in the Champ Game... I'm normally a Big12 guy...i'm rooting for Bama for the Championship (that and I REALLY hate Texas).

As for the Heisman, based on the performance of the big games tonight, Mark Ingram, Bama RB takes it vs. Horns QB Colt McCoy who had a sub-par game w. 3 pics. Tebow's history. I'll be highly PO'ed if Ingram doesn't get it.

I honestly think Suh from Neb deserves it, but I'm biased...he's the BEST defensive player (with out a close second in my mind) with a bunch of just so-so offensive players... I think your right, I think Ingram wins it, but I think the MOST outstanding player in the NCAA this year is Suh...

Suh is the best defensive NCAA player this year by far, but it's always a long shot for a defensive player to win, and sadly the Huskers lost in their biggest game of the year tonight. He certainly is more worthy than the Texas QB Colt-man, another loser tonight. Ingram cetainly isn't the best overall running back in all of the NCAA, but he played a super game tonight when he had to, and will play another great game against the Horns. I think it's wrapped up mate......

Florida was the heavy favorite, and I sure had my doubts Bama could beat them. They just weren't hungry enough this year, and Tebow's overblown hype bubble blew up. HOrnbrod
Yep - right there is a good example as to the typical Horns fan. :shake: Hey Katy-boy, if you're willing to back up your mouth (or your butt by the looks of your icon) with a friendly little wager, shoot me a back-channel PM. :rotfl2:

JACKED88
Dude, I'm not even into collage football. I could care less who's playin or who wins. I didnt even know TEXAS was in tha playoffs till I read this thread. Now that I know I have to admit it is pretty awsome. GO TEXAS!!! With that said and having read how you guys hate TEXAS, surely you didnt expect me to just sit here without sterrin tha pot a little. Weather I'm into football or not, what kind of a true American would I be if I didnt defend tha state I've called home for over 52 years?
87Warrior
:agree: Haha. I am not into any college team at all. Just could not resist the opportunity to poke fun at the lone-star state. All in good meaning. I respect a person who is proud of where they are from :USAflag: Its not much easier being from Kansas... and no, I've never met Toto but the Tin Man is an interesting fellow. :rotfl2:
HOrnbrod
Woo-Hoo, Mark Ingram wins the Heisman. :clapping: First 'Bama player to do it. Now there's only one minor obstacle in the way for a puuuurfect season, the Horns.
SuperWade2
I'm not disrespecting the selection because Ingram's the best player on the best team in the country and he also deserves the award. But there is NO way Suh is ONLY the 4th best player...I don't know how they can call this the award for the BEST player when the voters only vote for Offensive players even if they aren't the BEST overall player at any position on any team... If Neb had been in the top 10 and relevant in the national picture, there is no way that the the RB from Stanford and the Pretty Boy from Texas get more votes (except for all the voters that have admitted they won't vote for a defensive player). The only reason that Woodson won a bunch of years ago as a DB is because he also ran back kicks/punts, etc. Rooting for the Tide to ROLL Texas, and I think it could be UGLY (thinking more than 14pts). HOrnbrod
AGREE 100%, Suh should have been at worst the #2 man. An awesome player, one of the few defensive players, no, the only defensive player now I think, who can completely control a game. If he played for Bama, the Horns, the Gators, or any other team with a good offense, he would have won it. But I'm very proud of Ingram, truly a humble guy who played his heart out all year, and it was obvious how much the award meant to him. Hopefully he won't turn pro anythime soon........
