I'm in the middle of building a rear bumber and was wondering how i would mount it on my truck can some give me ideas or pics of how theirs is mounted

Just look at your factory mounts and build ones just like them with thicker stock!!

Mine also have integrated side protection that wraps around and is tied into the frame again behind the rear tire. Then I added two pieces of 1" thick walled stock, angled to the rear tires from the center receiver. Tied into the "X" of the rear frame @ mid point and again at the ends just behind the rear tires.

If you don't want to make them JCR Offroad has some mounts can see them here:http://www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=MJRMTS&Category_Code=MJB

But I think if you can build the bumper you can fab then needed mounts.

My red truck (Mary Jane) is getting a new rear bumper from JC Offroad, The old bumper, a FEY, is going on my gray truck (Megan Joy), the old bumper (stock)that was on Megan Joy went to the dumpster, I did save the frame mounts and all the small parts that I could get off of it. I kept the frame mounts because they look like they would make a good starting point for a custom bumper if I should ever choose to build one. What's my point? Even a stock rear bumper that is TOAST, has potential for some usefulness.
