SO after/ while driving today I realized that my temp gauge doesnt go above 155 (middle line between 100 and 210). The heat was not on. Aux fan was not on. just normal driving. shouldnt it sit around 210??

Wait Rob it was sitting in there right bc i checked through housing after it was put on. I think I'm just gonna go to dealer and buy it from them

Nevermind. Just talked to you on the phone.. T-stat is new, but still the first place I would look. It shouldn't open under 195, and I can't believe a 4.0L running is operating at 155 with a stuck closed thermostat.

i got the OEM 195, and the needle runs all the way up to the 210ish mark on my gauge, then t-stat opens and at normal driving heat/no heat the needle sits at 155ish. (half-way mark). so same thing as jake, i have warm air blowing out, enough to get comfortable, but nothing to brag about.

I did break my shroud yesterday.....

Maybe block off half of radiator?

A broken shroud would actually make you overheat, because of the misdirected flow... But, it shouldn't take you over an hour to get up to operating temp... Maybe like 10 minutes in this cold, but not an hour... I guess you could put some cardboard over part of the grill... You must have flushed, changed, and re-done the cooling system so many times its not OVER-efficient... :rotfl2:

Is your heat at least finally hotter than the sun?
