Eagle Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Is there any smell? Where does the smoke come out? My first guess is that your heater core leaks, and when it's hot you're actually getting steam from heated coolant inside the cabin.
Automan2164 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 :agree: Check for coolant dripping out of the footwell vents, and look for an oily film on the window above the defrost. Rob L.
BlueXJ Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 The one in my XJ had some leaves and pine needles in it and smoked until I cleaned it out. Smoking is a bad habit and un-healthy even for a Jeep.
SomeNew Name Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Try the Patch it seems to help, or nicorette..
sinkrun Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Maybe mice filled up the duct work with crap? And yes this can happen.

Blower motor might be going bad.
