I wanted to just cut out 8-10" behind the rear wheel and put the back of the MJ on so it looks stock. My goal is to eliminate the overhang of the bed after the leaf shackles. If you do a search on here and in the the projects section, you should find plenty. I copied every pic I could find to my other computer for future reference. The bed on my 86 is pretty dented up, so I really don't feel too bad about cutting up a rust free box. I too will want to re attach the original end section for the tailights and tailgate.
