irishman999 Posted September 19, 2009 Author Share Posted September 19, 2009 I got these lights from "harbor freight" for an excelent price and i honestly expected them to immediatly burn out and catch on fire but instead they work excellent, i know they won't perform as good as a good set though. i even painted my D rings. First off whats the best advise for blacking out the chrome strip? I'm a huge fan of the first hummer and the old school jeeps and noticed they all have a similar grill style. I also noticed no one is really doing much with the grill on these jeep trucks. Since this morning i've been working on a plate steel grill for the jeep truck that has the large oval openings like a hummer or forward controll jeeps, I was going to try and get a tubing bender and build something to protect my grill, instead i want my grill to be more armored.
