What's the code on the build sheet for an 89 Manche that says whether or not it has an AX-15????

not sure how to tell from the papers but..

you could snap a pic and most of us could tell you offhand what it is.

my chiltons has a guide on how to tell.

thanks but my digi is poop and its still under the the truck which makes it very difficult to tell from pics (i already tried)

 

i THINK it breaks into 3 pieces (ax-15) but i won't know until everything is pulled out, and that won't be til monday

look at the bottom of it, if it's an AX-15 then it will have its serial number and date code stamped into the bottom on a flat spot towards the back.

If it's a BA-10 the plate will be on the side.

yeah that's what it looks like, i ju st really wanted to make sure. i see the explanation thing on the back, problem is my trans code is DDX and DDX is non existant in any ofo the code explanations...

Then it's probably an AX-15 given that they threw them in half way through the year and probably didn't think to add the code to the explainations.
