What filter? :dunno: You mean me? :D I still approve or delete each new "member" that signs up. It's not foolproof, but I use a site called stopforumspam.com which keeps a huge database of known bad IPs, usernames, and email addys. Some spammers are obvious and I just zap them. Some require use of that website to weed them out. Some are just not yet in the site and I have to make a judgment call. My fear is always that I might delete a legitimate person so I lean towards approval if I've got nothing to tell me otherwise. :thumbsup:

There is a filter in the software and it's still in effect. Problem is that some of the spammers seem to have figured a way around it. :dunno:
