Quick Reply

Not sure if it's available for this particular forum software.

 

For those of you who visit NAXJA, you'll notice a "Quick Reply" box at the end of every page of a thread. This way you can just type out a quick response and hit send instead of having to "Post Reply".

Yup, that's a vBulletin thing. Haven't yet seen it for phpbb.

vB is a fee forum software, phpbb is a free forum software and so we're usually a bit behind with new add-ons. I'm sure it'll be available eventually.

Did Qui ever figure out if phbpp is capable of pasting the new message text into the e-mail notification? That sure would be schweet....

Haven't heard a reply on that yet. His private life is pretty much eating up all his time at the moment so I haven't been bugging him about anything unless it's an emergency.

I've never understood the quick reply thing. I just don't see the point. Is it really that difficult and time consuming to hit Reply first?

 

Side not to Pete: If the chance to switch over to vBulletin ever comes up.. consider me strongly against :ack:

You'll get plenty of warning before any possible switching. :D I'm not even thinking about taking on another bill until I have some solid employment.
