Hawk Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 1984-1996 Jeep Comanche on that fender, he he. To be completely honest, if I had to do it again, I wouldn't have wasted my time putting the baja fenders on my XJ unless I was going full-width on it. They weigh the same as normal fenders, except they don't dent, they shatter. Aftermarket fiberglass panels take a lot of massaging to get them to fit like factory, and often never will. To each their own, though.
Codycobra84 Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 I had the same idea to put these fenders on mine, but mainly b/c I wanted alittle more clearance and my bed sides are kinda rusting out so I gotta replace at least part of them so I figured replace rust with something that won't rust. Heck my last truck had pretty much a full fiberglass bed so worrying about the bedsides crackin isn't a big worry for me. -Cody
dakineJ Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Has anyone worked with fiberglass much? Just thinking about playing with some different designs for bedsides, wondering how hard it would be.
