mvusse Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I had done some cutting on the flairs to help clearance issues when driving. Now I played some with the GIMP before I cut into the fenders themselves to solve clearance issues under full flex. How bad does this look with the stock bumper? Original: Cut:
lostissues Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 it doesn't look the best but all that means its time for a new bumper
CWLONGSHOT Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 it doesn't look the best but all that means its time for a new bumper I agree!!! Time for an UPGRADE!!! CW
mvusse Posted April 30, 2009 Author Posted April 30, 2009 Problem is a bumper is not in my budget. I am completely tapped out for at least 2 months, and that's assuming work stays steady, which is not a safe assumption nowadays.
maddzz1 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 i think it looks good, but it would blend better with the bumper if you painted them black
mvusse Posted April 30, 2009 Author Posted April 30, 2009 Bumper is hunter green off a Cherokee Limited. So paint the flares hunter green? :D

mvusse Posted April 30, 2009 Author Posted April 30, 2009 You related to Mick Jagger or Keith Richards?
BJA814 Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Maybe if you lost the end caps, and cut the bumpers on a 45* (when viewing from the front) it would look better. Don't paint it though!! Multi-colors make you stand out. haha
