Did later XJ's have optional swaybar discos?

I broke a swaybar link on the 97XJ today. When I went to remove I was surprised to find swaybar disconnects on the truck. It does have the up country package. The strange thing is that it has factory swaybar links, but the bottom has an odd pin similar to the JKS diconnect lower pin but a smaller diameter to handle the stock swaybar link (not a standard clevis pin). based on that pin, I know that it is not a homebrew (even though everything else looks homebrew). Did the up country XJ's have swaybar disconnects?

I would imagine it was an option with the Up Country.. not just later models.

No, sway bar disconnects were not an option on XJs.
