Geonovast
Isn't showing us a screenshot of your fancy resolution kinda like those stupid Bose commercials? If we don't have the system they're advertising, we can't hear how good it allegedly is!! Looks like a neat monitor though. I've never been big on resolution, I'm fine with my 15in old @$$ laptop screen, and my TV is a 27" CRT, and I don't plan on upgrading. My GF has an HD TV. Honestly, I see better on the CRT. You can deff tell a difference in HDTV,,, but not enough for the added price to buy all the other stuff like a tuner, cables, ect... I have a 22" LCD and it's HUGE!! I have a 22" LCD and it's HUGE!! I can't. Even with the brightness turned all the way up and the contrast adjusted as best I can, it's still to *(ing dark unless I'm looking at it at the perfect angle. Maybe it's just that my eyes are freakin horrible. My glasses prescription is so bad that I'm not eligible for lasik. I've never paid for a TV, and I've got 5 of em. People just throw their old perfectly working ones at me whenever they have to upgrade I guess.

At home I sit behind my 24" Dell LCD. have had it like 3 years.. paid 1200 on it.. it's beautiful.
Pete M
I've got a new monitor too (19" led LG), but that's because the power supply in the old one (19" MAG) croaked on me a couple months after the warranty was up. Turns out to be a common problem for that model but for the life of me I couldn't find a new power supply in stock anywhere. Oh, well. Lesson learned and the new one comes with 7 years of warranty. :D Anyone know where I can get my hands on one of these? http://www.discount-merchant.com/Produc ... C&Click=35 I never did get to a local computer store. Probably should have. :shake: Maybe they can diagnose and repair whatever individual component went bad. If I can fix it I'm going to give it to my buddy Mike (who's still using a non-flat screen :ack: ).
