mvusse
How much should I expect to pay/what is a fair price for a set of D30 axle shafts with the bigger 297x/760x u-joints?

TNT
Used is about $100.00 to $125.00 for both sides with outer stub shafts. I have seen them go for $75.00 a couple of times.

mvusse
Davey's Jeeps quoted me $125 for a set with good u-joints. But I just found out Cleveland has 2 pull-a-parts and they charge $15 per shaft. So what all would have the 297x/760x joints? 96 up XJs (?) any XJ with abs (?) What else? CWLONGSHOT
I agree with all posts.. Save the brain cells, just buy a set of TJ axles. IMHO, 80-100 bucks for as is shafts out of a used D30 axle. 150 for one with new (er) replaced UJoints. CW
mvusse
Except I can't find a TJ anywhere near besides Davey's. A number of newer XJs at the Cleveland West pull-a-part, though. The money I save could be used toward new 760 joints.

mvusse
I did; found them cheap, but not as cheap as pull-a-part. Also found them in my area. But not in my area cheap.
