Mongo Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Hi, I am new to this group,but not new to the Comanche. I have owned mine since new (87). This Tech page has been a wealth of information and came in handy yesterday when my truck suddenly stopped running. I made it a mile down the road when the engine cut out (no fuel). Towed it home, switched trucks to go to work. Spent an hour last night reading old posts on stalling engines and FINALLY found out what that dang ballast resistor was for. Mine apparently cracked in half yesterday after 22 years of hard use. Followed the instructions in the post, jumpered the two wires and Voila, truck runs. Part on order and will be in tomorrow. :banana:
