fuel level sending unit

help !!!

 

i'm trying to find a fuel level sending unit for my leaky '91 long box, but google has not been my friend .. anyone know where i can find a new one ???

Been there done that, if you can wait for a couple of days these guys claim to rebuild ANY sending unit within a couple of days.

Your dilemna, you can find a junkyard and ask specifically for a 91 up fuel sending unit. More than likely the fuel pump will be worn out so you will have to replace it, it is also possible they will give you the 87-90 unit which will cause your gas guage to read backwards (before you ask me how I know listen to this) NOTE not work or child friendly!

i'm guessing being a rad shop they'd just clean it up and silver solder it ??? i can do that (i think) . i'll take some piccys and let ya know how it goes
