anyone removed the emissions crap form there 2.8l. if so what all did you take off and what adjustments did you need after?

planning on more horsepower of just really annoyed with all the "crap"

 

i've only heard that you have to change the air mixture somehow, because it becomes less confined, so more poors into the engine and it begins to run lean. that what i've HEARD, i'venever done so myself

both, factory intake has been modified by time and rust and the cat converter is gone. here is what my intake looks like now.

I put this on my 3.4L and didn't change a thing except to plug some hoses and attache others to the breather:

Always ran fine, although as you can guess I had no clue what I was doing dunce3.gif

I think there's a big write up on it on NAXJA. If I remember I'll copy some stuff over here. Basically, you end up disconnecting all the vacuum lines but 3 or 4, and plug/unplug the rest.
