jeepaholic Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Ok..I give up what size is the allen head that removes the rear caliper?..Ohh and shouldnt i only have to remove these two and retainer spring to get the damn thing off..
mvusse Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Don't know, but I believe the MJ front calipers are 7mm, which is not a common size. Most (if not all) sets jump from 6 to 8. It is also somewhere between 1/4 and 5/16.
jeepaholic Posted February 26, 2009 Author Posted February 26, 2009 7mm is my guess...what a pain in the @$$..
BLHTAZ Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Are you sure that it is a hex head?? The info I am getting is saying that it should be a T45 torx... :hmm:
Comanche County Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Use a Flat head screwdriver that's just a little too large to fit in the Allen bolt,,,,then hammer it in with a BFH,,,,then tighten away.... :D Dang I'm a redneck.... :brows:
