MiNi Beast Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Engine bay harness is the same, (Renix) but undash is not or well is but the lead back from door to rear is not. I swapped in a whole xj harness from front to rear when I did mine in the 87 but had to splice up the fuel pump wires. Someone has the book of diagrams maybe chime in.
tkgibbs27 Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 so any cherokee with a 4.0L would have the same engine bay harness then? my dad and i replaced and rewired the fuse box, in cab part, kept the original undash harness when i first brought it home because the insides of the original fuse box was completely corroded, so a lot of electrical stuff wasn't workin. once it was replaced everything was working like it was supposed to for at least a year but things went down hill after i lost power to my fuel pump which was back in like september or october. well i got the hanes and chilton books for diagrams.
