...yeah this is how my day started

This just happend in my apartment parking lot. my XJ decided to get in a fight with a F-150 and lost. i was turning a corner to go around the garages when right as i did that the other guy slammd on his brakes i saw him and did the same. we both hit some black ice and hit almost head on... the thing that pisses me off is that this could of easily been prevented if this @#$%ing city wasn't so god damn cheap when it comes to salting the roads. this city is nothing but one bit sheet of ice with buildings placed on it.

 

at least my headlight didnt shatter and it didn't damage any vital parts of my XJ. only thing that i replaced so far was my turn signal light and the fuse for my turnsignals. i had to bend so metal away from my tire, but other than that its still in driving condition

Good thing is...it's fixable without a whole lot of expense.

Sucks to see one crunched. You gonna go 97+ clip now or replace with the original? If it helps I have an 87 front clip I would part with reasonably.

well considering there isnt alot on my rig thats original it really doesnt matter to me what year i use. what state you in?
