90eliminator Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 OK, advance has two different alts, one is a 63 amp and one is a 113 amp. My truck is no power windows, no power locks, but now it is 4wd. I should take the old one out to compare, its just cold here and my carhardts are just not cutting it. Which on do I need, 90 Comanche Eliminator.... 4.0 auto.... Thanks guys....
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I would get the bigger one especially if you plan to add any lights, winch or other electrical gadgets.
mvusse Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I think either alternator fits, although the bigger one is physically bigger and a bit tight. And if I remember correctly from when I replaced mine, they are both priced the same, so.... I agree, get the bigger one.
garmj Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I have a barely used Alternator from Advance Auto part# p7902-11 and according to my research it is rated @ 105 amps. If interested its for sale for $40.00 shipped ,been tested and still has stickers on it.It won't fit my 4 cyl MJ.
