Sprayed Bed Liner Comparison

Would like to hear opinions on Linex vs Rhino from anyone who has done either.

I've seen the thread on Brent's "paint-pull" from the masking, but I'm particularly

intersted in experience over time, i.e., durability. Thanks!

Well...obvioulsy I won't go in to the other details that you already know, but outside of that, I am very happy with the way it looks and it's toughness. We hauled several loads of rock in it before I put the spare tire mount back in it with no ill effects. I am talking about some failrly large pieces of jagged sandstone...not little smooth gravel stuff.

I still recommend Line-X. Rhino was too expensive.

My brother & I both have Line-X bed liner, I would recommend them to anyone, never had any others though. A friend of mine has a rhino liner which looks to hold up find but has faded to a grey color.

The one thing about Line-X is when it is new it is kind of glossy but after a few weeks it has more of a satin look(which looks better IMO).

Both the Line-X and Rhino dealers are competitive when it comes to pricing. If I were you… I would get an estimate from the one that you don’t want, and then use that as leverage when it comes to pricing for the other. I did this and saved about $100 with my Rhino liner (ended up being cheaper).

Bother are pretty similar, Rhino is applied a little thicker… You should be happy with either.

my dad put rhino liner on my truck before he gave it to me. i think that was almost 10yrs ago. But it faded gray and now it started to peal right around the inside edge where the lip of the bed. Its been through some rough times though, moving rock, camping, tools, etc. Its supposed to out last your truck, so far the truck is outlasting it. But they say they got a lifetime warranty. one of these days ill put that warranty to the test.

Then my dad put line ex liner in his cummins diesel. To me the line ex seemed rougher. and as pioneer 4x4 said rhino lining is thicker. But it was glossier and looks nice, course its only like 6 months old. Basically its whatever you feel, i would go with price.

i'd check the guarantee on them with the actual shop that will apply it. when i had my shop, we applied rhino. the shop down the street did too. the difference was that if i had a customer come back later with a scratch or gouge in it, i fixed it and reapplied, no questions asked, that's the guarantee. the place down the street would inspect any damage and contact rhino to see if they will cover it.

it's worth an extra $100-200 to be able to drive up and get it fixed for nothing. each shop can be different so check them out.
