dakal Posted December 21, 2008 Author Share Posted December 21, 2008 from owning a 635bmw for fourteen years, one of the problems i had turned out to be my battery was supplying a voltage that was under the min required for the computer. replaced battery on advice of my mechanic, end of drivability problems. i have drivability problems with my mj, we checked the battery, and it wouldn't charge correctly. i am replacing the battery next week. so, i'm wondering if the batterys voltage was below the min required for the computer to operate correctly. the proof will be when i change the battery and drive it. :yes: hoping :banana: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cheech Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 The way I always check my batteries is with a load tester. It seems to be a lie detector for them. It may show 12-13 volts with a multimeter, but hit it with the load tester and it will really drop if its bad. if it holds 9-10 volts under load it should be fine.
