tallon2064 Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Does anyone know the size of the hinge pins on an 88 manche? The top hinge on mine has alot of play in it, and am thinking about replacing it. Also are there bushings that I would need to get?

tallon2064 Posted December 14, 2008 Author Posted December 14, 2008 I have already looked in the manual but it does not give the size, just says "pin, hinge". :wall:

BLHTAZ Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Can't find anything that lists a size for it...just as you have found only saying hinge pin.

tallon2064 Posted December 14, 2008 Author Posted December 14, 2008 Thanks I'll just have to do it the old fashioned way remove and find replacement size

deziped Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 It's a 6 mm. But I couldn't find any so I used 1/4" bolt from local hardware. You might have to run a 1/4 bit through it to clean the hole up slightly and allow the bolt to slide through. Dip it in oil and tap it lightly. It's an easy enough task.

Eagle Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Why not just get the correct parts? What fun is that? Isn't that contrary to the Jeepers' Code of Conduct?
