90eliminator
ok is there a way to bypass the CPS totally, feed it with a power source of some sort, fool the computer somehow... I did a search but came up with no topics like this.... Is it doable....?????
Pete M
No. It is a vital piece of equipment. It tells the computer where the engine is in its rotation. Without it, the computer won't fire the engine. Which is a good thing, 'cause all sorts of very bad things would happen if the computer fired the sparkplugs and injectors at the wrong times.

HOrnbrod
You can always use the Hesco relocation kit to move the CPS up front on the harmonic balancer. Easier to work on....... http://www.hesco.us/shop.asp?action=details&inventoryID=43097&catId=
