jaekl
It doesn't do anything like that. It's the load sensing brake pressure regulator. The heavier arm should be horizontal and the link to the diff should be vertical. Lots of discussion on the subject. After a little search, you'll find some have taken it off, but if it still works, it's a matter of opinion. This should be part of the welcoming package for newcomers. Oh yeah welcome. mfpdm
OOOOO, a Big Ton. :clapping: What normally happens to get it in that position, is that it's been put on a lift sometime in it's life and the mechanic didn't pay attention when bringing it back down. The link to the diff cover should be pointing up with the flat bar almost horizontal and pointing to the passenger side.
james750
Mine is the same way. What is the fix for getting it back to where it should be?
Pete M
Either by disconnecting it at he simplest joint, repositioning it, and then reconnecting it; Or or jack up the body and reposition it.
