White XJ Country, Leather seats, woodgrain dash trim, star wheels, decent tires.

This is listed for $1500. 200k miles, no rust anywhere. Small chips out of the back bumper, and one hammer sized dent in the hatch. Considering it runs well and transmission seems decent, is this a decent price for the condition? I don't know much about the pricing of XJ's, but this is the cheapest one i have seen for the year/miles up here.

Thanks,

JD

If it runs good, that is a great price on it. My son just paid $3500 for a 1996 XJ, but it is Showroom clean and had only 60,000 original miles on it.

Its a good price, it accurately reflects the minor damage, overall dirty/"used" condition, and the miles.

Looks like with elbow grease and a little time invested in it it could be cleaned up and be pretty nice again.

And my daughter just paid $3000 for a 1999 4.0L Auto with 145K in pristine condition.

It is a 4WD, right?

yeah its 4wd. It has the 2wd, 4 part time, 4 full time, and 4 low. What T-case is that with? Probably going to jump on this one and make the MJ a project truck instead of DD.

That is the 242 Transfer case.
