Due to the fact that the boy needs aomething better then 10mpg as a DD the MJ is going up for sale

In this area I have seen rust bucket MJ's go for $2,500 at the auction

But what would a 89 with a 92 4.0 HO aw4 and 7" lift go for?

Well...I know up north they go for way more than they should, so I don't know what you may get up there, but down here you might get between $3000 - $4000 if you do good.

Yeah, buy an $800 car and keep the MJ. :D Quality cars are out there. Heck, My minivan might be worth more than scrap value, but she's still ultra reliable. :D Just be choosy and smart when shopping.

:agree: Hell, a $2500 Honda could still be a steady ride for another 5 years, and worst case if it needs to get worked on you've got the "loaner car" sitting in the driveway.

We are looking at all the options right now. If he can get a job  so he can pay for a DD, insurance and tags that may work :brows: But right now we have 6 cars / trucks parked in the drive, I am paying insurance and tags on 4 so I am not much help 8)
