Well; Here I am driving down a Blvd. 'bout 35 mph . ;)

 

When all of a sudden

:eek: rear left Axel just decides to take a trip with tire and all on it's own....................... :eek:

After my un complete stop 8) I notice how such free spinning axel :headpop:

Decides to Tackle a phone booth 8) nope :oops: thankfully no one using it ( not even superman) .

short story:

my truck's in the impound :headpop:

and the phone booth Including Phone are Totaled....

 

Really lucky NO Persons , cars in traffic, were hurt/damaged.

 

So I'm MJless for the rest of the wk end..

Come Monday , Well see.

PS check ur bearing often... not fun when it hapens on the trail.... MUCH less on the street.

car-part.com should be able to show you junkyards that will sell you an XJ 8.25 for under $150. And don't forget that anytime you're swapping one axle is the time to contemplate swapping 2 and getting batter gears. :D

if you were more local, I'd proabably work out a cheap price on my xj 8.25 in the barn...3.55 gears and bones-basic 8.25 with all brake hardware.

Well Folks: Looks like I'll be bringing the good Old Mj from the impound tom. morning ;).

 

Guess besides diff swap; I'll be doing some body work also ...
