wallisek Posted September 5, 2008 Share Posted September 5, 2008 Can also be worn bearings and/ or just a really beaten up transmission with high mileage as was the case with my CJ w/ the T5. Anyhow I just got a line on 93 XJ with only 66000 Kilometers :Canadaflag: for only $700. Its been sitting on our friends land for the last 5 years and he will be happy to get rid of it. Pete M Posted September 5, 2008 Share Posted September 5, 2008 Since they stopped making the previous stuff (which was super expensive anyways), the new recommendation from Jeep is to use regular engine oil. 10w40 I think.
